Foundation Studies

Foundation Studies is for students who may have a learning difficulty or require extra support to access education working from Entry Level 1 to
Level 1.

We provide a supported learning environment, independent living skills and employability skills. All of the courses run for one year.

Career opportunities can include progression on to employment or supported employment.

We plan personalised learning programmes that will meet student’s individual needs and requirements to successfully achieve their goals and aspirations and progress on to further
study or employment.

LLDD

The College has an excellent reputation for its courses for
Learners with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (LLDD).

Our experienced team are highly trained and specialise in
helping people with many different types of difficulties and/
or disabilities to ensure you make the most of your time with us.

 

Independence

You will improve your independence and confidence, and develop your skills for employment such as good
communication and responsibility, and where possible, undertake some work experience

Learning

All students within the Foundation Learning programme can complete a Gateway award, Certificate or Diploma qualification. The curriculum offered is individualised to meet their needs as outlined within their Educational Health Care Plan.
